We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Relationship Manager to join this established market leading buinses intelligence data business.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for a Book of Business consisting of complex Capital Markets or Insurance/Banking/No-Fainancial Corporate accounts in the Pacific
  • Design, maintain and execute strategic account plans engaging and managing a range of internal and external stakeholders to grow the Book of Business
  • Develop a strong understanding of business intelligence products and their application to our markets and specifically our clients and the users across their organisations
  • Maintain, develop and nurture deep relationships with all personas of our client's organisation, addressing their often different needs & maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction to grow your Book
  • Build awareness and educate our clients using a diagnostic approach to enable users to access products to the level of their intended potential given the persona of the user
  • Further, design solutions for qualified opportunities, to introduce new products to the client
  • Maintain a current awareness of competitor services and operations to identify potential opportunity or risk to business intelligence Global Market Intelligence services and effectively communicate this to the Product organisation as part of our broader and ongoing desire to develop and enhance our products
  • Contribute to the Pacific strategy through your deep and developing understanding of macro and industry level themes that might impact your segment or the region
  • Travel (30%+) to service your client's regional requirements, to attend internally/ externally hosted industry conferences/ events, &/ or attend regional business intelligence staff events

What we're looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications. A bachelor degree in business, commerce, economics or related subjects. Post grad study is considered beneficial
  • Prior 3-5 years of financial services industry experience (direct/ indirect)
  • A track record in directly negotiating and delivering commercial growth from complex relationships is highly desired
  • Highly effective communication, strong commercial discipline, strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • An active listener, someone interested in the opportunities and challenges of a business who can decipher and articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and structured manner
  • A strategic mind set, highly active and driven to engage the market with a sense of urgency to achieve regional and individual objectives
  • A working understanding of the core investment decision work flows for Buy &/ or Sell side practitioners. Including but not limited to, company/ security research or selection, valuations, financial analysis, financial model development or application, portfolio analysis, transaction execution/ negotiation. An understanding of the application of data in these workflows is desirable
