A niche market leading technology company are looking for a National Key Account Manager for the UK. They provide business to business software solutions through their platform and other services. As the Key Account Manager you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from qualifying leads to securing the deal and beyond. You will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and targets and have sole responsibility for your vertical market segment and the growth of your area of the business. There will be internal collaboration to approach large pitches and wider opportunities and you will work closely with the professional services team to ensure products are deliver on time and customer satisfaction is achieved. This role is entrepreneurial by nature and you will have full responsibility for your own business plan, diary and ultimately how successful you will be. The company has ambitious growth plans and there is a huge amount of opportunity for progression and career development.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar role, enjoy face to face sales, whether that be meetings or over video. You will need to have sales / business development experience within B2B technology or equivalent and have sold into large accounts sold in a multiple channel environment. You will be consultative and skilled in selling solutions, and be a natural relationship builder that thrives on exceeding targets and providing high levels of customer service. The experience of selling software systems to manufacturing or FMCG organisations would be a huge benefit. This would suit someone who has a hunter mentality, but operates with integrity and an honest approach to their clients.
You will receive a generous basic salary of £60,000 - £72,000 (dependent upon experience) and a realistic OTE of £120k - £130k with accelerators that will allow you to overachieve.
