I am looking for a Business Development Manager to join an established and successful mathematical consultancy. The business invests heavily in building effective working relationships, including briefing business leaders and senior management, developing strategic interactions with the science base, and working closely alongside their clients' own project teams.
You will join a welcoming Business Development team and once settled will lead the business development activities and growth in a specific strategic area, as well as attending networking events and conferences to identify leads (new potential clients) and develop sector knowledge (including challenges and opportunities).
You will champion the business values, which include integrity, clarity and motivation, and you will be responsible for developing and leading a strategic area of the business through determination and drive.
- A strong background in mathematical science, including a higher degree
- Ideally, successful applicants will have experience of applying mathematical techniques to business challenges and must be excited by the prospect of helping the business to expand its activities
- Self-motivation and resilience
This will be a fully remote role, with travelling expectations to meet clients and vist the Oxford office twice a month (post Covid-19)
